1 Corinthians, chapter 1 verse 23 1 Corinthians, chapter 15 verse 3
The Bible tells us that "all have sinned
and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3v23) and
consequently, every one of us "must be born
again" (John 3v7).
John's Gospel, chapter 3 verse 16
"We preach Christ crucified"
"Christ died for our sins"
The wondrous message of the gospel is that,
while God despises our sin, He loves each
and every individual, and demonstrated this
when He gave His only Son to be our
Saviour.
Because of Christ's "one sacrifice for sins
forever" (Hebrews 10v12), God now freely
offers salvation, forgiveness and peace to
"whosoever will" (Revelation 22v17).
"For God so loved the world, that he gave
His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but
have everlasting life."
